What's a girl got to do to eat healthy?

It really is a difficult thing to try to eat healthy. Just look at the picture below:

What you say...You can't make out what that picture is?
Well that would be Halle at 8:00 Saturday night with a spotlight shining on the grapes outside.

She came upstairs and wanted her snack. She looked around and could't find anything that she wanted. She wanted to eat something healthy and the green grapes and apples were gone. She decided that the grapes outside were the next best option. So without saying anything to us she went into her room and put on her shoes and her sweatshirt and came into the kitchen with the spotlight. She told us about her plan to go in the backyard and get her some grapes.

Grandpa and Grandma were over so we were all laughing quite hard as we watched the spotlight flying all over the backyard and around the neighbors houses. They probably wondered what the world was going on over here.

Halle picked out her grapes and brought them inside and she was so proud of herself.
I'm happy too that she's making smart food choices!

How cute! It's cool that she wants to eat healthy. I'm usually pretty healthy like that, but tonight, my dinner was a big piece of chocolate cake!! :)

Too Funny! Halle is one determined little lady! It's great that she made such a good choice. My children are feasting on candy. I'm such a good mom! BTW the broccoli soup was delicious!

Wow! My determination to eat healthy only goes so far - and last night I definitley would not have been excited to go out in the cold just to get some grapes!! I'm glad she's thinking healthy though! :)

Maybe I can hire her as my personal trainer! :)

I love it!! My neighbor used to to grow grapes when I was growing up. I loved to pick them and eat them. I would also go to my grandmother's house to pick raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. Yummy!!!

We grow grapes and we love them, too! We also try to eat healthy...much to the disappointment of my children! I am glad that she is choosing healthy already. What a great blessing throughout her life.
