A little bit of this- A little bit of that.....

I don't know if any of you saw the sunset on Tuesday but it was absolutely splendid!
This is what I saw from our back deck over about 10 minutes time.

Now onto another subject. Yesterday Arianna came home from school all excited because she had made a Birthday card for Halle. When I read it I had tears. Now some of you know that there is quite a bit of jealousy between Arianna and Halle so when I saw the love displayed in this card it just made me melt!

In case you can't read it- this is what Arianna wrote:
Dear Halle,
Have a wonderful birthday today. I can't believe that you are so nice and
cute and that God sent you to us. I think that was nice of Him to do that.
I'm glad you are six. Love Anna

How sweet is that! I praised her up one side and down the other for being so kind to Halle on her Birthday. It's these moments that I have to remember- when lets say.. the love isn't exactly flowing out of them!

1 more thing for today- If I could ask- please pray for Arianna's teacher- I'll just give her first name- Martha.
We were just notified today that she has larynx cancer. She says that the prognosis is very good but she's going through chemo and radiation. She will only be at school on and off for 6 weeks. She is a wonderful teacher with a huge heart for the kids that she teaches. I'm sure she would appreciate any prayers.

That card is so sweet - you better keep it and read it on those "off" days. We saw a little of the sunset, but have too many trees to get a good view. It's beautiful.
I'll be praying for Anna's teacher.

Oh - and if I didn't LOVE where I live so much I would totally be moving to your neck of the woods - it is breathtakingly beautiful!

Maybe Blogfest 2009 will be with y'all!

How sweet! Isn't it great when they show their true feelings in between all the madness! What a nice big sister! I saw that sunset too and thought of getting the camera. Beautiful shots!

Wow - That sunset is absolutly beautiful! How did I miss it?

And the card is beautiful too. And very sweet. Keep it some place handy so you can read it often! :)

And I'll pray for Anna's teacher. And also that the kids will be good and gentle on her on those days that she is there. :)

We saw the sunset on Tuesday. Dave and I both commented on how truly beautiful it was.

Oh do I understand sisters that aren't always full of love for one another. How great to get those glimpses into their hearts and see what's really there.

Prayers are being said for Martha.

What a great card and a great big sister. What was your other daugther's reaction to it when she got it?

That is the most beautiful sky I have seen as of yet.

I'll say a prayer for Martha. What sad news, but hopefully the outcome will be a blessing.

I always knew that deep down, Anna has a great love for her sister. Sometimes it's just a little too deep to find. Better make sure you save that card for when she can't find the "love"

What a beautiful sunset!! I love it that God brings us beautiful moments to remind us that he's there. What a sweet card. She will really appreciate it one day when they are both grown up, and hopefully as close as you and your sisters are.
