Easter

I hope you all had a great Easter. We had such a great service at church this morning. We had a great message, great worship with our praise band and even special effects! I'm not sure who did the decorating in the front of church, but it was awesome and really set the tone for worship today.

After church, we came home and did our egg hunt inside because of the snow.
The girls had a blast.
Every year we do an egg hunt and there is always 1 "golden egg." Inside the golden egg is $5 so it's a big deal to find the golden egg. You can only find the egg every other year so this year Halle found it. Next year, it will be only Arianna's to find. Here's Halle with the treasured find:

Here's the girls with their egg treasures:

I have to show you the girls in their new Spring dresses. Don't worry- when we left for church they put their sweaters on to keep warm!
Don't they look beautiful. Arianna just looks so old to me all of a sudden!

Oh the days of Easter dresses. We used to get all set with new anklets and new spring dresses only to run out on Saturday night to buy tights and sweaters...brrrr! I hope they didn't wear those cute sandles with their bare toes. They are both so cute!

Our service was powerful, too. The song I posted on my blog ended up being one that our drama group did a great presentation to as we sang along. Awesome!

Glad you had a great service, too!

Their dresses are beautiful! We didn't get Bekah one this year because I had to spend so much on the one she will be wearing in her cousins wedding! Plan to see her in that alot this summer! Your Easter Egg hunts sounds like fun! Next year we should do it like that, I am done with candy!

Hello. I am a lurker on your blog, and I thought I would finally comment! :)

Your girls are just precious. I am glad you had an amazing church sermon, as we did too! HAPPY EASTER!

I thought the message was awesome as well! It said in the bulletin who decorated the front of church - do you not read your bulletin??? ;-) The girls look very beautiful! I think when you put dresses on and sandals they always look older - Tori just got her 8th gr. grad. dress (cream & gold strapless! It makes ME feel old)!

Wow! Your girls look so beautiful. Something about the dresses just grows them up so fast. Glad your service was awe inspiring...just like Easter should be.

Arianna sure does look older than 9. Especially since her lips are naturally dark (I hope) it looks like she's wearing lipstick. It'll be hard holding off the boyfriend problems til she's conquered the problems of just being a little girl.

I love the dresses - especially the last one - wonder if it comes in size Large? They are too cute -- can I come over and help hunt for the money egg next year?

Your girls are beautiful and their dresses are so pretty. (I much prefer it when Easter is in the end of April.)

Looks like the Easter hunt was lots of fun - and I love the idea of the golden egg.

Have a wonderful day!!
