I love Chicken a la king so I was thrilled when I found a recipe for it in the slow cooker:
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 T. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts- cut in cubes
1 celery rib, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper
1/4 c.chopped onion
1 pkg (10 0z) frozen peas, thawed
In slow cooker, combine soup, flour, pepper until smooth. Stir in chicken, celery, green pepper and onion. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat juices run clear. Stir in peas and cook 30 minutes longer or until heated through.
Serve over rice or toast.
