Date night

Mark and I have been trying to have a date night for a couple of weeks. He had it all planned out on Valentines Day but that night I was sick and last week Saturday didn't work either so finally we got to go out this past Saturday.
We didn't have anything fancy planned- it's just nice to get out without the kids once and awhile.
The guys at his office started dieting this year and he's melting away to nothing. He's at his goal already and has lost his 20 pds. We needed to do some jean shopping for him so off to Kohls we went. It took trying on quite a few pairs but we finally found one he liked. I think it was almost as challenging as shopping for womens jeans!
After that we went and saw:

It's been a long time since just the 2 of us went to a movie and we really enjoyed this movie.
There were a couple parts that had some language issues but all in all we loved it!

After that we just headed to Panera for supper. It was so yummy. We are really exciting people I tell ya because we were home by 7:30!! Isn't that pathetic??
It was a really nice afternoon and night though- we really have to do this more often!

All I can say is Kohl's is a little more exciting the Home Depot. That's usually where we end up on our dates, and we don't even see a movie!!!! Mark lost 20lbs that easily!!! I'm just touching 17 and I am busting to do that! Men!!! Gotta love um.....

Our night out would not have the movie and would throw in Lowes! Still - it's nice to get out. I have heard that movie is hilarious!

Sometimes Craig and I love to just be able to go and walk around Target or Walmart without the kids. That in itself is a date night. My sister in law did give us for Christmas a jar with different date night themes in it. There is one for once a month. Granted we haven't done any of them yet but we just might this weekend. Glad you guys had a good date night!!!

Well, you certainly deserved a "date night" after being so sick! :) Glad you had fun! And Panera sounds so good! I love their Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich. It has the best Tomato Basil bread! But we haven't been there in awhile either!

Glad you were finally feeling well enough to enjoy getting out.

My kids saw that movie and really enjoyed it, too.

Sounds like our date nights. We hit an early movie and then eat way too much popcorn bringing us home before dark, LOL Oh well, it's still fun!

I think your day sounds fun. It's amazing how our date's change in time. When I was younger I could stay up until the wee hours, now I'm normally in bed by 11:00. I don't think I could stay up past midnight anymore. :)

No. You are not pathetic. We always make our date night early so that we don't have to wait for a table. So we tend to do a late lunch/early dinner when we go out on Saturday.
We need to get to Kohl's for jeans also. Mark can pretty much pull his jeans off without unzipping them. LOL! Good thing he always wears a belt.
Smiles!
