Soccer
Arianna started her soccer season this past Saturday. I don't quite know what to say about her team. Let me put it this way- the score was 10-0 not in our favor. Now I'm not one of those competitive moms and I don't have a problem losing- in fact I think it's good for them once in awhile. However whoever put these teams together I don't think did a good or fair job. I don't think it's good for the kids to feel defeated every week either. Our team is all really small kids and it's looking like it's going to be a long season. I'm not counting us out yet but it's really not looking good either!
We'll see what next week brings.

Well hopefully things start looking up with the soccer, doesn't look like they organized it very well!
Hope you're having a wonderful day,
Sandra
I hope she will still have fun. I don't think the coaches should choose - it should be more random.
That seems quite unfair. I know at this age, you want to teach them the basics, but they still like to win once in a while.
I remember I had a t-ball team like that. I was always in the outfield, and our team never, ever won. I hated going every week. And then there were the teams with all the really good people and they'd just win every week. I've never played sports since then! Not that I would have if my team had won, but it might have helped me a little! Hope her team does better next game!
Wow - Maybe they started you off with the best team first - HOPEFULLY! that would be pretty tough! Maybe they'll get really good quickly!
