I ran across the Farmers Almanac prediction for our area for this coming winter:
The 2008 Farmers’ Almanac long-range forecasts are calling for colder than normal conditions for the eastern half of the country – chiefly those areas east of the Mississippi –with snowier than normal conditions expected.
I really like the snow- although I'm glad I live in a place where the seasons change.
I'm always ready for winter but by the time it's March I'm getting ready for warmer temps again. Sounds like we might want to be ready for a little more snow than normal this year- they say that their predictions are correct 85% of the time.

I have always loved a good snow storm too, except this year I will be quite concerned with Katelyn driving back & forth!
I love snow and I hope this year brings alot of it. I'm actually ready for this hot summer to be over with.

I LOVE snow and always welcomed it in Idaho, now that we moved to Arizona, it's going to be one of those things I really miss.
Snow is beautiful when you can stay inside, but when you have to drive in it, it becomes something else! I hope the Farmers Almanac is wrong!
Found your blog from Refresh my soul blog, and I am also on the CWO. I love the winter and I am in the eastern part of the states..however we usually get snow..and after this hot summer, i will just be glad for Autumn to actually begin with temps that stay in the 60-70. Hot hot summer!
yeah, i love winter, even though last year we didn't have it around christmas, which stunk. hopefully this is true.
