What a great weekend

We had such a great weekend! We pretty much worked all weekend around the house doing yard work etc.. but the weather was perfect we couldn't have asked for any better.

Friday night we decided to do some pretty major landscaping- we worked on that Saturday and Monday-I'll show you the results tomorrow-here's a sneak peak though:

On Monday we also put in the garden, put up the pool and 1 other huge thing- but it's not done yet so you're going to have to wait on that also.

Here's some pictures of the girls helping Mark put in the garden we planted green and yellow peppers, onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, zucchini:

Hi Cheri, I am finally back from Virginia and we had a wonderful time with those two cowboys.

I love your Gerbera Daisy. We had some for the past couple of years, like they must have reseeded themselves and reappeared. They are not out there this year but I have a sneaky suspicion that I thought they were weeds and pulled them. UGH!

It looks like you will have a nice garden to tend in the coming days.

Now I know why you live in Michigan and love the snow! I don't like the heat either but I like the cold and snow even worse. I guess I am hard to please.

Sounds like a productive weekend! Mike planted our garden last weekend (a week ago) and this weekend (Memorial Day) we did all our planters and mulch. It looks so much better again and now it really feels more like Spring/Summer! :)

It sounds like a very productive weekend. Daisies are my favorite and I love the color of yours! I can't wait to see what your other projects are!

I love those gerbs - they're so cute! I've tried them before and they just don't work in my yard - I think they were getting too much sun and drying out too fast. I guess I'll just stick to using them in flower arrangements. I hope they work for you because they are so fun and cheery! If your helpers want to come and help me plant some veggies that would be awesome!
