So tragic

I couldn't believe my ears this morning when I heard on the news that the cyclone death toll in Myanmar has soared above 22,000!

I can't seem to wrap my mind around that many people being lost in this cyclone and also the suffering that those left behind are having to deal with.
They are saying that now the Government is finally saying they will accept help.

I can't help but think that this is another sign of end times. So many incredible weather events have been happening lately.

Please pray for these people, that some good would come of this tragedy. Perhaps if they allow help in, these people would be able to be witnessed to.

I too was shocked at the total lost. Praying for those people right now.

I was just reading about this on MSN. I can't even imagine.

You can't even realize how many people that is and then to think about the after effects and how many can die from lack of food and water.

When I first read about the cyclone on my weather alert, the numbers were really low. Each day they continue to rise. I ran to the map of that region I have on my refrigerator to see exactly where it is in the world.

When I think of so many people swooped into eternity, I wonder how many or how few, knew about our Savior.

I so agree Cheri on both counts! We need to reach those people with the good news, and we all need to be ready for His return! So very sad!

I haven't been keeping up with the news, this is so sad, I didn't even know there had been a cyclone.

I agree with you, it's just scary when you sit back and see all these huge weather events happening all over the world.

How sad. Good thing I know that prayers are answered and the more we pray...well, good things will happen.
