Question for you

We have a couple parties coming up and I want to know if any of you have any favorite games to play at a party.
I'm wondering about the newer game- "Scene it"- any of you played it or know anything about it.
Any suggestions would be welcome!

Mad Gab is alot of fun! We've played it quite a few times and it just leaves you in stitches! Otherwise catch phrase is one we play too.

I was going to suggest catch phrase. But Kim beat me to it. Mad Gab is fun if you aren't playing with Jeff Szarowicz, totally has to follow EVERY RULE. Too funny, you will have to ask Kim about a New Year's Eve party involving him and Tyler Damron.
Smiles!

I was also going to say Catch Phrase, but I also like Apples to Apples.

Goodness - I'm straining my brain because we don't play too many games over here as you know!

I'll go with Melissa though - Apples to Apples is pretty fun.

Cheri, we arelly enjoy playing Taboo, Scattergories, and Pictionary (we do it on a big pad of paper, or a white board) with large groups of people.

Blessings!

Taboo - is super fun! I haven't played games in a loooong time (I am a little competitive) but when I did Taboo was the bomb!

We love games !!! I had to read all of your comments to find out what games people recommended !! :) Apples to Apples is fun. Played that for the first time when I was visiting family in Colorado earlier in the year. Scattergories. Love that game. Balderdash is fun too. One time we played Bible Balderdash with a bunch of missionaries. That was hilarious ! You can get real creative !! Depends on your group as to whether you choose Balderdash (the original version) or Bible Balderdash.

Can't wait to hear about your fun parties !!!

This might be a little late.....
However, my husband and I just played Scene It night before last and had a great time. Talk about flashback----and the fact my husband is a prey of commercials.

I bought the game never hearing of it a couple of weeks ago b/c it was 75% off. I would have paid full price for it---I enjoyed playing with my husband.

I want to buy my children the Disney version since they do not watch a lot of TV and most of the movies they've seen are Disney.
