Our first taste of winter

This is what it looked like outside last night. It was freezing rain. I wondered what the morning would bring but it wasn't too bad out. It just rained the rest of the day so it was pretty dreary out. It's supposed to turn to snow tonight so we'll see what the morning looks like. It's December so it's time for snow-right???

I'm curious- how many of you like snow this time of year? I really like it until about February- then I've had enough of it- but for now I'm ready for some good snow storms.

I love snow this time of year. I would love a good snow storm. Don't tell the kids, but I would love a snow day!

I love snow days, but hate to drive to work in crummy weather and now have to worry about my kids driving too!

I could do with some snow right about now ! December 1st was the first day of SUMMER here. Bizarre, I know !! I'm still not used to it and I've lived here for almost 10 years !!! I'm sitting here with a fan blowing directly onto my face to try and cool of !!! Do you think snow would travel well in an envelope ? Could you send me some ? ha ha !!

Yeah, last night's weather was nasty! I like the look of snow this time of year, but I agree with you, I'm sick of it by February. I like to go skiing and have snowball fights though!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a good snowstorm.... as long as I'm snuggly in my house. I HATE, HATE, HATE going out to drive in it. Especially after all my problems last year (spin outs, doors not closing, etc.) So I think this year, during the snow storms, I might declare my own snow days... although I might find myself out of a job that way!

I tolerate snow until just after new years and then I do not like it at all.

I like to have snow until December 26 and then it can all melt and we could go right into Spring!

Are you kidding! Snow would be awesome! It is sooooo hard to get in the mood for Christmas when my air conditioner is on! ;) AND if I had not been wearing flip flops today, I wouldn't have broken my toe nail on the shopping cart wheel--ouch!

( I totally do not mean to keep rubbing it in, BUT it is just the reality down here!)
