Just a quick one for you today. There's a new rendition of 12 days of Christmas- have you heard it yet?
Last night I overheard Halle singing it. It went like this-
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a POP TART in a pear tree!

No, I hadn't heard that version! I'm surprised she got that far - I don't think I'd know the other 11 in order! But I have to agree with her that I'd rather have a pop tart than a partridge anyway!
I love those kid versions of songs! I agree with Laura - I am surprised she knew all the rest. I have to really think to come up with them all.
That Halle - leave it to her to come up with a food item for the last thing! She's too funny.
that made my day :)

Very funny!! One of the MANY reasons I absolutely love kids that age! You never know what you're going to get!
Laura- you're right. Sorry- didn't mean to mislead you- I just copied the song into my post. She sings it from the last 5.
I mean really?? would there be anything better than a POP TART in a pear tree??? YUMMY!
I wonder, would the pop tart come in flavors other than pear ? If so ... she should market it ! I's love a pop tart tree !!!
Hey maybe she could sing that on Christmas Eve at church, or send a video like you guys did last year!
How cute you should start a book with all halle-isms it might become a best seller.
I LOVE it! Kids versions are always better! I kinda want one now...strawberry, frosted.
LOL that is so funny, but I have to hand it to her, I have YET to sing the whole song with the right words, I had no idea what the other 11 were LOL
