Halle's Spring Program

Our school spreads out the kids programs that they put on through the grades which is great. So Halle didn't have a Christmas program this year she had a Spring Program and it was last night.
It was only the 1st graders and they did different songs and Haiku poems about the different seasons. I am so impressed with our music teacher- he does a great job. He really gets the kids going and again they did a really good job.

Here she is coming into the auditorium when she spotted us- I just love that little grin!

She had a special part to say and if I do say so- she did a great job!

This was a song that he really got the kids moving- look at her dress go:

Here they were supposed to do some dance moves- she didn't disapoint!

This is classic Halle being Halle!

Halle really did her part! Did the rest of the kids know that they were supposed to sing? Ha! Ha! It looks like Halle stole the show! She really did a good job. She must really like music!

Although Halle is cute as always and you have every right to be proud, I can't help but laugh at the shoes on the girl next to her. Wow, those are some shoes for a little girl!

Ginger is right - those are some shoes!! How in the world do you got so lucky as to have Halle in the front row? Shaelyn always has people in front of her!

Cheri,

If your daughter isn't just the most precious little thing?!? Goodness, these pictures are darling.

Thanks for the comment today. I am shocked that you beat Mari over. She has been my first commenter since I started blogging. I am going to have to tell her that your sister is now queen! haha

...and YES I did wan to crawl away. Can you believe it?!? His upper thigh too! UGH! I felt like a pervert!

Glad though that it gave you a chuckle. It is pretty funny.

You got some great pictures! I'm glad they do the Spring show, so they can split it up. Did I see Lydia had a part too?

Well I guess your little girl isn't lacking any confidence is she? She sounds like a popular little bubble. My Hannah is so, so shy sometimes....do you think Halle could send some of her bold energy this way? :D

Cheri, I want to tell you a personal thank you with all my heart for visiting and commenting on my blog often. And I have enjoyed reading your blog posts from time to time, I just don't always leave comments. But today I wanted to because when I visit your blog I see what a cool mom you are, and this is what I have sensed God has been speaking to me about; not being a mommy to my laptop time, but to my 3 & 5 yr old who deserve more from me. I am good at feeling God deep down in my gut, telling me about certain things, and this I've been feeling for awhile; to cut back from my Internet usage. Oh I'll still be around but sometime this next week I plan on writing a post that I'll only be online 'these' days (and list which days). It's so hard to keep up with things online sometimes and maybe some are better at it than others, or maybe it's because my kids are still so young....but you're blog always represents showing your life to being an active role as a good mom. I mean, just look at your refridgerator that you have showing on your baking post...all the art drawings (I'm assuming your kids did), that's awesome. And that's what I need to be doing now too. I need to get my priorities back in line with being a good mom, the mom I used to be so loving and affectionate....but slowly the internet....somehow I got caught up in it's web. But God has been pulling me out again, thank you GOD! Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you. You are such a blessing and I look forward to reading more of your posts on the days I am online. You're too cool and full of wisdom! Thanks for being there for so many of my posts with comments of support for whatever the post was about. Lots of love Cheri. See ya soon....oh and I added myself to your followers list. YAY!!
