Any ideas for me?

Calling all you cooks out there!!

I'm hoping you all have some ideas for me? It's getting better- but it's still hard to get around and to stand for any length of time. I'm looking for any ideas on easy suppers that don't have alot of ingredients.
Anyone have any brilliance you are willing to share with me???

My husband thanks you in advance~

I wish I had some great ideas for you. How about grilling out most things. Hot dogs, hamburgs, pork steak, those kinds of things. You could have it ready for Mark to through on the grill do some potatoes and veggies and you are good to go!

I am the last one to ask! One of my ideas when Steve is gone is to make me mashed potatoes and the kids mac & cheese! Oh yeah he's gone the rest of the week guess what I'm having!

Arby's has a sale this week for 4 roast beefs for $5. I would check out the sales, like pizza, McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King. THE KIDS WOULD BE HAPPY! (:

I made a box of Weis Spanish Rice and followed the directions. Fried it in 2 T. butter, added the water and a 14 oz of Del Monte Tomatoes with Zesty Mild Green Chilies. Cooked 20 minutes and added a spoon of sour cream on my helping. YUM! It was a little spicy but good. You are supposed to add cooked chicken to it but I didn't have any cooked.

The men in the house (Chad fixed it) ate Steakums fried with onions, mushrooms, shrimp, and spaghetti (precooked) with a couple shots of House of Tsang Szechuan Spicy Stir Fry Sauce. These guys LOVE this stuff. I have never tasted it because I cannot eat spaghetti.

Hope someone can be of better help to you.

This is a Mom question! :) But - that's okay, you have good reason. Boneless skinless chicken breasts are a great standby - you can cook them in the crock pot with salsa, bbq sauce, sweet and sour sauce and then just heat some veggies to go with. Or - make a panini sandwich. My family also likes the El Montery Burritoes - you buy them frozen - put them in a 9X13 pan amd pour a souce made of gravy, tomato sauce and burrito seasoning over. Bake for 45 minutes , then sprinkle cheese over and bake another 5 minutes. Hope this helps a little!

We love beef stroganoff around here. This one is super easy – made in the crockpot
Ingredients
2 lbs. beef stew meat (I buy the pre-cubed stuff)
1 large onion, chopped (buy the already chopped stuff to make it easier)
1 beef bouillon cube
1 clove minced garlic
`/4 tsp. pepper
1 – 10 3/4oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 – 10 3/4oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 – 8oz. packages sliced mushrooms
1 – 16oz. carton sour cream

Combine all stroganoff ingredients except sour cream in slow cooker. Cover; cook on Low heat setting for 6 to 8 hours, or High heat setting for 4 to 5 hours or until beef is tender. Stir in sour cream just before serving. Serve over hot egg noodles; sprinkle with parsley.

i just thought of another easy meal - a chicken pasta salad.

1 pre-cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded
1 bag of frozen peas, defrosted
3 -4 celery stalks, sliced
1 bag macaroni noodles, cooked, drained and cooled
-mix them all together in a bowl. Add some mayonnaise, stirring until it’s creamy.

Try browning some ground beef. Make mac and cheese from the box the way you usually do. Then stir in the meat and you're all set. If you want, you can stir in a can of stewed or diced tomatoes. Sprinkle some cheese on top and you're all set :)

I really don't like to cook that much - baking is a different story though. HOWEVER, I have a Campbell's cookbook that has recipes all using 4 ingredients or less. If you're interested in looking at it, let me know and I'll get it to you. :)

No help here! ;) I was hoping for lots of comments so I can get ideas! I hate cooking, so easy is perfect for me! Glad to hear you tendon is re-attaching on it's own!

Tacos are easy, you just have to brown the meat and let it simmer. Do you like breakfast for supper, then you could do eggs and bacon.

How about some wraps????

Some rice, little bit of soy sauce and some green onions...spread some mayo on a spinach or normal tortilla, spoon a bit of rice, then add some roast beef or ham and maybe even some sliced cucumbers and wrap it up. It's really good.

I do a lot of salads too, I sometimes make chicken salad using frozen popcorn chicken and then some dressing, maybe some honey mustard....1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup mustard.

Tuna salad is also a big one for us for something quick....just a can or two of tuna, 1 or 2 cooked potatoes, some onion and mayo. Yummy!

Try the cranberry chicken on my sidebar. SO easy and yummy! I also love this website -- you can put in whatever ingredients you want under advanced search and get a ton of recipe ideas. Easy and yummy ones, mostly! Here's one I tried the other night - we all really liked it...I used orzo 'cause I was out of rice and it was great. (I get this mag, btw.)
