Slow Cooking Thursday

I believe you can't have too much cheese in your life so here's something to aid you in your "cheese fulfilled" life!

Bacon-Cheese Dip

16 slices bacon diced, fried and drained
2 packages cream cheese (8-oz each)
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. 1/2 and 1/2
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dried minced onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 dash hot sauce

Put all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low, stirring occasionally until cheese melts, about 1 hour. Taste and adjust seasonings, add bacon and keep on low to serve.
Serve with cubed or slice French bread.

I started a super-strict diet this week and that just sounds like happiness in a bowl right now!!!

Ooooh, this sounds wonderful! I may have to do this for Super Bowl or for "Snack Day" (aka New Year's Day)

This probably isn't the best for bad cholesterol, is it?

Cheri, this sounds scrumptous! I think Terri's right though, probably not the best for my bad cholesterol. :)

Tomorrow I'm hosting my "Favorite Ingredients Friday" recipe exchange, perhaps you'd like to join us?

P.S. Love your blog design! Very pretty! I've got an Ireland theme going on at mine, it's based on pics taken by my husband during our wedding/honeymoon in Ireland.
