A Quick Update

Thank you all first of all for your prayers. I made it to the airport.
My back is sore but doing much better.

Mark and Nick made it home- Mark a little worse for wear.
He called me from the Cleveland airport and was sick. He got the Guatemalan parasite and unfortunately left a little "souvenier" in the airplane!!

He was so so sick! He got the medicine to stay down and He is feeling better now- still no appetite- but that will come with time.

I will update you about the trip next week- it was awesome and Nick says it's something he will never forget.

I'm so glad that they made it back home safely! I talked to Brenda tonight and said that I don't know about these mission trips lately! The last Haiti trip they left AND came back in blizzards and now the Guatemala team and Melissa come back in record breaking rainfall/thunderstorms!! I hope this means the "3" are over and we'll have SMOOTH SAILING when we leave for Haiti in 2 weeks!! :)

Glad that you are doing better and that the guys had a good time. I feel for Uncle Mark, I remember that bug though I didnt have it as bad.

Cheri, I am glad your back is getting better. Now poor Mark is down!

Our neighbor is getting ready to go on a missions trip at the end of the month. He has all his shots. We told him to NOT drink the water.

I cannot imagine what it would be like to be sick on the plane! We will be praying for a speedy recovery.

After watching Alicia take several trips around the world I learned that she always returned home changed forever. I'm sure Nick is full of stories and excitement.

Praying for complete healing for you and Mark. Rest and take good care of eachother.
