Update for you

I had my Dr appointment today and wanted to share the good news. It looks like my tendon is re-attaching on it's own so for now- no surgery!!!!!!

I have to do physical therapy 3x/week for about 2 months. I'm so grateful for your prayers and well wishes.
One more thing- guess what I did a few minutes ago- rode around on my knee scooter! Yes, that's right- I found one from another durable medical place and they even bill my insurance so maybe they'll pay for part of it. It's fabulous and I feel like at least I can accomplish some little things around the house now.
If anyone wants to take a spin- I only charge 50 cents a ride- what a bargain huh!!

Yay! That's great that you don't have to have surgery.
And yay for getting a knee scooter! Aren't they fun? ;)

Praise the Lord that you do not have to have surgery!

Ha! Ha! I can see you now breezing around the house on your scooter!

When I broke my foot back in 1993, I didn't have a scooter but I had a wheelchair. I rested my knee on the seat and scooted about my big kitchen. I was claustrophobic and could not wear a cast so I absolutely could not put any weight on the foot. Such fun!

I surely hope that this little scooter gives you the freedom you need for the work you do around the house.

May those therapy sessions quickly help your tendon to heal.

Oh so glad you don't need surgery, hopefully with the physical therapy you start feeling better. :)

I have 50c ready, can I come over for a spin? LOL

Praise God no surgery!! You must be behaving yourself! :) The scooter sounds like fun - I want to see you use it sometime (maybe at church???)!

What she didn't tell you all is that she almost fell off of it the first turn around the house! LOL

Cheri, where is the picture of you on your knee scooter! I knew I should have brought my camera.

Glad you are not looking at surgery. The scooter thing is so cool. Hang on to that thing as I may be in need come fall. I have to have my foot and leg operated on and will be laid up for a bit. I just may come calling for a rental.

As for the L*O*V*E situation, it was just wrong. I think some people just thrive on control or something. Sorry you had to endure that treatment.

Hoooray for no surgery!
Girl, you betta be glad I don't live around you - I think that 50cent a ride is WAY cheaper than gas in my car so I would have you scooting me all over the place!
