A little Spring Cleaning

First of all I'll just update you quickly. The back pain has been coming and going but it hasn't been as bad as Monday night. I'm really not sure what is going on, because it's not normal back pain. I'm also fighting a cold right now so maybe it has something to do with that too- however since it's pain by my kidneys, I'll just keep pushing the fluids and see if that helps- (thanks Diane!) I'm not having any other symptoms though so the Dr wants to just watch it.
I appreciate the prayers because we leave Friday for a little Spring Break vacation and I really really want to feel better by then!

Monday before all this hit I was inspired by Jenn
so I did a little cleaning out of my linen closet that has been driving me nuts for awhile. It's a little embarrassing but this is some of what I'm getting rid of:

Notice I said- some- Yes there was even more than that. I still had baby crib sheets! Usually I'm not a pack rat so I guess because I didn't see them in there I didn't get rid of them. I think things were multiplying in there- I can't believe all the stuff I'm dumping.

Here's the after picture of some of the shelves:

It's so nice to be able to see exactly what and where things are again. I still want to pick up a couple of organizing bins for my medicine and such. That was my one closet that was a mess- hopefully next week I can get some other areas that I don't get too very often and with it being Spring break I might even have some helpers to help me!

Yeah! The closet on my upstairs landing is next on my agenda but it is one of those that you don't dare open the door due to something possibly falling on you. So I need to work on my motivation a little before taking it on. Maybe I should try one shelf a day.
I have had kidney stones and the pain can come and go. Have you ever had one before? Maybe you should at least ask your doctor if you can drop off a urine sample and have them check it for traces of blood.
I pray that it isn't a kidney stone 'cause they are no fun at all.
Smiles!

I always seem to struggle with my closets. I go through them and I'm so proud and soon they are filled and bulging again. I have one the I've been avoiding forever.

So, where are you heading for spring break?

Isn't it amazing how much stuff can be crammed in one closet? I'm always amazed when I clean one out! It looks great!

Oooohhhhhhh, you cleaned out a closet! There you go! You have been bending at the kidney level! Oh wait, did you clean this out AFTER the pain?

Keep checking the skin for a rash. . . . . could be shingles! YIKES!

It also could be that someone kicked you in the back (not meaning to) while you were sleeping. Then again it cou.....ld be kidney stones! I think if it continues on you should do what Jen suggested.

You know that you almost have to find what is wrong with yourself now a days, so the doctor will know how to treat you. It is crazy!

I surely do hope you get some help before the weekend. Post pictures!

Have a great spring break trip! I so wish we were heading somewhere! Your closet looks great! both you and Jen have inspired me. I'm off to my bathroom closet. It was on my list anyway, but I've been putting it off!

Good for you! I have been going through stuff one box at a time, and it feels so good!! As far as your health, you really have to take control of your own health because it seems like doctors don't really take the time to figure things out. I know this from lots of experience!!

Glad you're starting to feel a bit better. Good for you for cleaning. I should be doing that but instead I'm making little snacks to take along on Friday!

I think spring break plans for us involve painting Tori's room (actually finishing it finally) and next Friday night Mike and I will be going away (just the two of us!).

I hope your feeling back to 100% before your vacation. Obviously a break from the 'everyday' is needed.

Congratulations on the 'spring cleaning'! Always feels like such a wonderful accomplishment, doesn't it!

I love the feeling you get after you clean something up and it looks so organized and spacious! Congratulations on how your cupboard looks. I agree, it´s so easy to keep things without realizing or because you think you will need them and never do!!! Sometimes it´s just good to be radical and give it the good one over!
