A series of events

What happens when you combine the following:

1. Snow

2. Snow

3. Cold weather

4. Snow

5. Snow

6. More snow

7. More cold weather

I'll tell you what happens:

You need to combine the following:

6-10 medium apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. margarine

Peel, core and slice apples. Mix together with sugar and cinnamon. Place into a buttered 9x13 pan. Mix together flour, brown sugar, shortening and margarine until
crumbly and place on top of apples. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.

You will get this:

It looks really good! I think you may have missed a step, though. The last step was to drive down the road a little ways and share some with your loving sister!

Yum... That sounds so warm and comforting and delicious! Shouldn't the last step be to call your own snow day off from work and stay home to make it!?!?

How are things going on the snow front right now? It's truly so hard to imagine, I haven't seen snow since 1998 and that was briefly. I love your profile pic by the way.
