It started off really wierd because I woke up at 5:30 to an earthquake- yes you heard me right- we had an earthquake this morning!!
Then I got Arianna on the bus this morning and went to take my garbage out. I stepped off my front step and heard a loud pop and horrible pain went through my calf.
I instantly knew this wasn't going to be a good thing. I was able to get back inside and decided I really needed to get some help. My neighbor came over and we dropped Halle off at Mari's (thank you so much) and off to the Dr we went.I have torn my achilles tendon but the good news is that it didn't tear the whole way so I don't have to have surgery yet. I have to go back next Friday and see how it's healing to know if it will heal on it's own or if further steps need to be taken.
As on now- the Dr tells me that I am to be the queen bee for the next 2 days with my foot elevated and I am to stay on the couch. I have to be on crutches and I can't put any weight on it for 2 weeks with a total heal time of 2 months.
This means I need your help: I am requesting you stay ever vigilant with your blog posts so I have lots to read- I'm going to go nuts sitting on this couch!

How crazy is that?!?! You poor thing that must of hurt like the dickens. Why were you taking out the garbage anyway don't you have 2 males in your house that could have been doing that for you? I think I would make them feel really guilty about that at least for a little while. Let's say around 10pm tonight when you have a craving for a chocolate shake (okay maybe that is my craving you can substitute in whatever works for you) from BK but you can't possibly drive yourself just gently remind Mark that if he had only taken that trash out last night before going to bed...
Hope you heal quickly.
Smiles!
I was wondering how you were doing - I'm going to give you a call - my voice should cheer you up!
I don't think this counts as a complaint - it's a fact!
You know how you always think that it would be so nice to just be able to sit and take it easy? When you have to it's no fun! I'll help in any way I can!
aw man! I am so sorry to hear that! I am lifting a prayer for you.
Funny thing too here in the southeast we felt the quake too. INteresting.
Much love,
Angela

Oh good grief! I agree with Mari, this is not a complaint! You deserve to be treated like a queen! Tomorrow on Super Word Saturday we will try to make it worth coming by!
Oh no! I hope it heals well! I agree with Jen though...you can make something good out of this! Maybe you can be my inspiration for actually updating my blog...I've been slacking lately!
OH. MY. GOODNESS!
I am so sorry, Cheri! I wish I lived closer. I would come and do your cleaning. I know that Arianna will do your cooking for you.
I will pray for your healing and please take care!
I feel so bad for you!!! I will help too in any way that I can! Just let me know, 'k? I am with Melissa on the slacking on posting area - I'll try to step that up a little bit to give you something to do. Do you like to read books? I might have some for you if you're interested.
I don't think that's complaining if you tell us the facts! WOWSA - that's bad! I hope it heals fast and I will try to keep up with the blogging so you have something to laugh about!
