It's been awhile since I've done a Slow Cooking Thursday but I tried this recipe a bit ago and they were delicious. Normally you come across recipes for BBQ or sweet and sour meatballs. If you like French Onion Soup this is for you:
French Onion Meatballs
2 packages (18 oz each) frozen cooked meatballs
1 jar (12 oz) beef gravy
1/2 package dry onion soup mix
Place meatballs in slow cooker. Mix gravy and soup mis and pour over meatballs. Stir gently to mix. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 1/2-4 1/2 hours- until thouroughly hot. Meatballs will hold on low heat setting up to 2 hours.
Enjoy!

Hey Cheri! Thanks for your encouragement on my blog. I am loving this slow cooker recipe. I use my 'crack pot'(what we call it here) all the time!! I am always up for crock recipes so if you have lots of them - please post them! I need all the kitchen help I can get.
This sounds yummy and supper easy!
I almost don't dare to tell you this here after your sister's comment but your "package" is waiting for you at church above the mailboxes. It has no name on it and it is double bagged in a plastic wal-mart (or maybe meijer's, I am getting old and the memory is going) bag.
Smiles!
I love meatballs - that sounds really good! Unfortunately, Aaron has some sort of unfounded bias against them, so I never get them. Maybe I'll have to make this anyway and make him something different! :)
Hi Cheri! this sounds great--thank you for sharing!

By the way, I LOVE the new profile picture. It sure looks as though you had a good time in Orlando!
I cannot believe all that snow either! Yikes. But, I'm glad that you have been able to stay safe and warm through it.
