So I mentioned that I had noticed some changes going on with her body and she says to me:
"I've noticed that too mom!" and then she asked me what they were for.
I explained that when she got older and married and had a baby that she would feed the baby with them.
Her response:
"So I'll be like a cow!"
It actually went very well, it wasn't awkward and she was very receptive. So we have the changes in our bodies and monthly issues done with.
Phew- 1 down (well partly- I didn't go into how the babies get in there yet) 1 to go!

I love that comment!
That is so hilarious!
ROFL, Mooooowwwwww, have fun with the next subject. I had to explain to my oldest daughter, but the next two sort of told me about it in all their innocense.
So funny, she might be mortifed later that you posted this!...I sure did feel like a cow, come to think of it!
i love her response :) i'm glad that i have a long time before i'm at that stage :)
Hey, she is handling this really well. She is a smart cookie!
Oh that conversation is always tough on the Mom more than the child I think... glad it went well
Ok, so not ready for that one. Sounds like she did really well though.
ha ha! She completely got it-I felt so like a cow during those days! :)
You go girl-you are a good mom.
Much love,
Angela
Hi!
I bookmarked your blog a week or two ago whenever I saw that you were at least interested in trying to do Angela @ Refresh My Soul's 'grace' Bible study. (Right now, I can't remember if you were one of the ones who said she wouldn't have time but wishes she did.) Anyway, I like to know how people come to my blog, so that's why I'm doing all of this 'rambling.' :)
How old is Arianna? I have two girls ages 8 and 6. I keep thinking I need (and want) to have the "talk" with my 8 year old, but it hasn't been the 'right' time... yet. So, thank you for sharing this with us. (My daughter already knows about breastfeeding but not about having a period.)
Hahahahahah - i think the same thing - i can't believe it's time for talks - oh vey!! i want annie to stay four FOREVER!!!
