We went to a different beach that we don't normally go to. We loved it and the kids loved it too.
It was windy so the kids had a blast in the big waves. I'm still finding sand in my hair but it was worth it.

For some reason when I think of the Great Lakes, I don't think of a beach. Of course, they have beaches!
What was I thinking? I have never known anyone who lives near them so just never heard of it.
Wanda went to the Pacific beach yesterday and Ainsley the Atlantic beach now you to your mid America beach. I only went to the fish pond!
This beach looks familiar - would I know where it was?

Looks like Kirk Park. We haven't hit the beach for the day in years. We used to have so much fun with the kids when they were your kids ages.
Sand...ugh! The only rotten part of a day at the beach.
