My favorite flowers are Tulips- I just absolutely love them. After we left Mark's family yesterday we drove to go see the Tulips from our Tulip Time Parade. For those of you not around here the parade is a big deal. The festivities were last week and they last for days. I didn't want to deal with the crowds- and there are huge crowds- so we waited till yesterday.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
I played around with the photo for this final picture:
Don't mind Halle not being too happy- we had to wake her up to take this shot:

Gorgeous!! I love, love, LOVE tulips!!
Mark's dad lives straight across the street from Veldheer's Tulip Farms. Mark used to work there in the summer growing up and when all the tourists were there. I drove the kids by it on Sunday and it is just gorgeous right now.
Smiles!
I grew up with all the Tulip Time hooplah and was involved in the festivities for quite a few years. We moved here from Holland and now just avoid the area all together at Tulip Time! It is a lot of fun though if you can handle the crowds! When my friend and I danced, I can't tell you how many times people would want to take our picture and how many times people would ask how many socks are you wearing??? (FYI - usually between 5-9 pair for me)
The flowers are beautiful! I tend to avoid Holland this time of year! LOL I can live through your pictures!
Those are such beautiful pictures! I went to Tulip Time Saturday night, but we didn't really look at the tulips, we just walked around downtown. I love the busy atmosphere! :)
They are beautiful. I like the shot where you did it in black and white!
Those are sooooooo beautiful! I can only imagine how pretty they are in real life!
Thank you for the pictures! We used to go to the Wednesday parade every year, but haven't gone since the kids started school. Tulips are my favorite flowers too! I love the pics!!
I love tulips too! You did great with the one edited shot!
Ooooooooh! I would love to see that some time! That first picture is stunning! I like your edited picture too! Tulips are so SPRING! I love them!
Those are stunning ! I'd love to see that in real life. You don't see too many tulips around here. They were one of the things I really noticed when the kids and I were back in Denver a year ago ! The tulips were out and soooooo sooooo beautiful !!
Wow do they look happy! hahahah!
Did you change the tulip photo on the computer or with your camera? (The black and white one with just the one tulip color sticking out.)
Beautiful pictures~! You guys have some fun stuff around there!
Is that rain I see, are those streets wet? It was 101 degrees here today, I so wish I were there with you!
That is absolutely beautiful! What fun that must be.
Much love,
Angela
