This is Mark standing on a block of ice in the tree. The river was much higher awhile back and then froze between the trees.
Here's Mack having a great time- I just love his ears!
Look at this long line of the "ice road" If you look closely between the trees you'll see Nick, Arianna and Halle:
You can't tell from this picture, but yes- I'm up on the ice road too. Now don't be laughing too hard imagining me trying to get up and down from there. I will say it wasn't too graceful- It is kind of hard getting up there without using my knees because I don't have snow pants on. I did it though- and we all got a good laugh about it!

How fun! I have never seen anything like that. Crazy.
Cheri, You have got to send these pictures to a weather person. This is amazing! We haven't seen anything like this before. Call your weather station or check their web site. Sometimes a city will tell you to send photos of the snow to their website. This is amazing!
What a fun memory of a winter day! the ice road is amazing!! We haven't ever seen that!
Hope you had some yummy hot chocolate after that!

How awesome is that, I've never seen anything like that my whole life! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. It just seems an irony, it is too unbelieveably hot here today and I did feel chilly looking at your pics. Loved them.
I love all the pics, especially the one of the kids walking together holding hands! I think that one definately needs to be blown up a and framed! Awesome!!! I think you should send them in to a tv station too - let us know if you do so we can watch for them.
What fun! We always love to take walks too! I love that picture of Nick and the girls! He is such a great big brother! The boys are going to have to get through him someday! I can't believe how high the river got! Wonder what this spring (which is coming soon you know) will bring!

That is so cool. Dad was telling me about that yesterday. I can't believe it just froze like that. It's probably gone now though with all this yuck rain!
I guess it would be rude to mention that it is going to be 75 degrees here today, huh? Just kidding - I love to look at the snow. Looks like you guys had a great day.
That is amazing and really cool. if he would have fell that could have earned you some $$ and laughs on America's Funniest Videos. (as long as he didn't get hurt)
I'm seeing signs of spring here----I hope the snow passes soon. But, you did get some great shots on your walk today.
Those are some great pictures! I love the one of the three kids holding hands! I agree with Diane that you should blow that up and frame it!
