I got my book today that I won from Bonnie. Can I just tell you how fun it is to win something! Then add to that getting something in the mail from Australia! I love it.
Just looking over your blog for the first time. congrats on the book. Love the wreaths they're all beautiful. Your daughters being made to hold hands reminded me of my sister. We fought every day, sometimes very meanly. My mom had different ways of forcing us together for a period of time until we "got over it". Now we look back on those creative punishments and laugh. One wintry day we had to go outside because she was tired of hearing us bicker. Well, it was freezing that day (I guess she wasn't so dumb). After being out there for a few minutes we asked what we were supposed to do out there. She said just scream at each other, I don't care (not thinking we'd do it). Well, being smart alecs we did it, until we realized how silly we must look to the neighbors, and started laughing, falling in the snow, and made snow angels. Being forced to share your problems with your family creates bonds. But some families don't bother to SHARE their lives because it's easier not to. You're a good mom making sure that happens.
I'm a Christian wife to a wonderful husband and mom to 3 incredible kids. One biological miracle and 2 miracles from Russia.
I'm sharing a few of the joys and life experiences here...
