Last night I gave in and let the kids go for their first swim of the season. The water was already up to 74- apparently all that nasty heat yesterday was good for something!
They had so much fun- it was a blast to watch them again.
Yesterday when I made supper and turned on my oven I smelled gas. It has happened one other time, last night was worse. When Mark got home he said the house smelled like gas and when I went outside and came back in I could really smell it too. So today I called my gas company and although most come out and will check that for free - mine only comes out to check for gas leaks on the outside of the house. So lucky me I get to pay for a repair man to come out and look at it- starting at $65 and then whatever repair on top of that- ughhh! I pray it's nothing major and just a small simple gas leak. I sure want it fixed though- I ended up with a headache last night- so if I'm acting weird today it's just because I've been gassed!
On a different note- I'm just really curious who's reading this blog since my numbers have been going up as of late. If you read this post would you please, please, please leave me a comment??
I read it every day, sometimes a few times a day...
ReplyDeleteI mean, I check it a lot, just in case you might have posted something new. And usually I comment! :)
I'm here too. I also check it a few times a day. Mostly I comment!
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm new to your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's my one year anniversary since I started blogging. There's a give-away on my blog, so take a time-out and come and stop in for a bit.
Jillian
You know I read pretty much every day!!!
ReplyDeleteBrenda

ReplyDeleteMe too - I check it several times a day!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time that I have looked at your page. I found it through another blog. I wish it was nice enough to go swimming here. My son would love it.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog back when Boomama hosted the parade of homes thing. After "touring" all the homes I bookmarked several interesting sites (yours being one of them) and visit frequently. Our first house was in your town. We live in Zeeland now and I find it interesting when you write about familiar places that you visit.
ReplyDeleteHi...I found your blog through someone elses. I am a grandma/teacher who lives in China with my husband/teacher.(who is a grandpa, of course !). We are from the USA and have six sons, all married...and ten cute grandkids. We get to visit them all this summer for two months !
